LG Electronics has been awarded the title of being one of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Leaders in World Safety.
The South Korean company, which specialises in a range of products including mobile phones and LCD TVs, received the accolade through the work of its chief technology officer (CTO) Dr Woo Paik.
