Every now and then, we see a phone that we just can't believe. Literally, a phone that we simply can't believe. And if we're honest, the LG Viewty is one of the most mind-blowing mobile phones we've ever come across!

Absolutely Viewtiful

First, a question: why did LG name it Viewty? Well, after checking in the urban dictionary, which is where LG found the name, we found this:

Viewtiful: Something flashy or stylish. Someone with superpowers.

Well, those two sum up the LG Viewty pretty well, really! It's designed around the same Flash user interface as the Prada, with a huge touchscreen, meaning that it's an absolute joy to use. Oh, and on a side note, the animated wallpaper with the fish on it, that follows your finger about, is, possibly, the single coolest thing in the world!

Ultimate Camera

Actually, we've changed our minds on that. The camera on the LG Viewty takes that accolade! Weighing in at a massive 5 megapixels, it will give you crisp, beautiful photos. However, it's not enough to give it 5 megapixels, LG have also packed it full of features that are quite honestly stunning. So, you get the latest Schneider-Kreuznach lenses, image stabiliser (you just can't beat anti-shake for superb photos), ISO8000 Smartlight (for super sharp night shots) and coolest of all, manual focus. Want to focus on a particular thing? Simply prod that bit of it on the LG Viewty's screen, and it focuses in on your friend, or pet, or whatever. But that isn't just fun to play about with, that's brilliantly useful, as well!

The other thing that'll knock your socks off with the LG Viewty is its frighteningly high quality video. Not just that, but you can slip it into 120 frames-per-second mode, and actually record slow-motion action shots, just like John Woo. After that, you can edit it in sequence, to make your own movie. Oh, and then, with one button press, you can instantly put the whole masterpiece onto Youtube. It doesn't get much more exciting than that! Now factor in even more cool stuff, such as Google Maps, and loads of media options, and the LG Viewty becomes a serious contender for most awesome phone ever. You may have worked out our thoughts about it, but we'll spell it out. The LG Viewty is rather perfect in every possible way!
