Every once in a while, we see a phone that simply blows our mind. Honestly, a phone that we simply can't believe. And if we're honest, the LG Viewty is one of the most mind-blowing mobile phones we've ever come across!

Absolutely Viewtiful

First things first: why is it called Viewty? Well, after looking in the urban dictionary, which is where LG got the name, we found this:

Viewtiful: Something flashy or stylish. Someone with superpowers.

Yep, both of those describe the LG Viewty rather perfectly, really! It's designed on top of the same Flash operating system as the Prada, with a huge touchscreen, meaning that it's an absolute joy to use. Incidentally, the animated wallpaper with the goldfish in a pond, that follows your finger around, is, possibly, the single greatest thing in the world!

Ultimate Camera

Thinking about it, we take that back. That honour goes to the camera on the LG Viewty! Weighing in at a substantial 5 megapixels, the photos you'll get out of it will be sharp and gorgeous. However, not content with giving it 5 megapixels, LG have also crammed in a jaw-dropping range of features. So, you get staggering Schneider-Kreuznach lenses, image stabiliser (anti-shake is always welcome for amazing pictures), ISO8000 Smartlight (for super sharp night shots) and coolest of all, manual focus. Want to focus on one particular thing? Just touch that bit of it on the LG Viewty's screen, and it focuses in on that person, or building, or whatever. Not only is that novel, that's brilliantly useful, too!

The other thing that'll knock your socks off with the LG Viewty is its frighteningly high quality video. Not just that, but you can slip it into 120 frames-per-second mode, and then capture slow-motion action shots, just like John Woo. After that, you can edit shots in sequence, to produce your own blockbuster. Oh, and after that, just press one button and you can instantly put the whole video onto Youtube. That's just incredible! Now factor in even more cool stuff, such as Google Maps, and lots of media options, and the LG Viewty becomes a serious contender for best phone ever. You might have guessed our feelings on it, but we'll spell it out. The LG Viewty is really quite perfect in every possible way!
